Out with my sister yesterday, I bought a mini. Well, we both did, and it was just so beautiful we couldn't resist -- ink with gold elephants!!! I only own two skirts and have not worn a short one in ages, but this one seems both wearable and versatile. I'll wear it with navy or black tights and black boots or ink loafers, and lots of different top options -- fitted black Tippi, oversized navy BF turtleneck, chambray shirt, light blue tuxedo shirt, tee shirt and cardigan, my Zara tie sleeve top ... I see many mood-mixing options.
I have to admit, it was fun to dress like my sister once again, just like we did so many years ago.
I'm running out of steam with regard to shopping, which is good because I am also running out of money. My one last purchase this year may well be a pair of Gasolina boots, thanks to Avettestingray's excellent suggestion. Other than that, it's time to start really working my closet hard.
