I'mm be a slight naysayer. Or really more of a question-asker. Where would you wear a dress like that? Other than out to dinner or out to a bar, I'm having trouble coming up with the right venues.

I actually think it's fairly conservative in cut - that's what I love, the contrast between the zipper/raw edges and the classic shape.

April, I actually emailed to find out about sizing (yes, I'm obsessive) - the bust runs small proportionate to waist (size 6 has a 29" waist and 32" bust). That rules it out for me. But it is sure to be super-fab on you!

For me, this dress is one of those things that you see and say, "THAT'S how I want to look." Not like the model, of course, but in terms of clothing.

Una, one way I'm picturing this is with tights and "our" Tsubos (mine are black). Oh, I hope it fits!

I would have ordered it too! But the bust issue did me in - designer clothes tend to run small in the chest area, IMHO. I suppose I could leave it unzipped ;-0

Una, could you size up and have the skirt taken in? Taking in the bottom halves of dresses seems to be a pretty easy alteration -- I've had it done many times.

Or is that too much of a project right out of the gate?
