Last winter, my SO pointed out that my purple winter coat looked shabby. I only wore it for two winters, unfortunately, and the store from which I purchased it no longer exists in the US. I would really love to get a "beige" coat, broadly defined, but have often run into the problem of the colour washing me out. Sure, I can wear bright scarves and makeup (which I often do), but I don't want to feel like I must do that in order to pull it off.

Does this shade of camel work? The attached photos are intentionally unflattering-- no makeup, messy hair--so that you can get a better sense of whether this color could work with my au naturel state. For obvious reasons, I'll delete them once a consensus is reached.
