I went to Nordstrom to return the fur stole and gold skirt and lo! This bag in the grey-gold was on a display table. I looked it up and it also comes in ink.

Anyone care to drool with me?

Ha ha! I convinced my friend at work to buy an (almost identical) version of that in a taupey gold two years ago when it was on NAS super sale. I get to see it every day! It is gorgeous! (In hypnotic voice:) Buy it Una. Buy it. You know you want to. Buy it!

Yes, I will drool with you! Have you seen the ink blue in person? It is GORGEOUS!! I saw a different style in ink at Dillard's a few weeks ago and now I've got an ink blue Brahmin on my fall shopping list. I have the Anytime tote, but in black and white stripe like your domed satchel.

Hmmm . . . . I did end up returning my KS bag. I hadn't taken the tags off of it after 6 months, so I figured I didn't really love it. Especially as I bat for Team Wear.

I have a pecan brahmin now I use daily and it has held up beautifully. I was contemplating a blush Coach . . . hmmmm . . . gotta put the accountant math away and get out the girl math!

Oh, that is gorgeous. I love the ink.

Since I have an urban walking/bus commute (which is great), I have to carry my laptop in a backpack for ergonomic reasons. And I just haven't figured out how to not look ridiculous with both a backpack and a big statement bag.

Thus, you must get it so that I can live vicariously through you

Angie, you make a good point! I think it goes with my Burberry love. I like structured, classic bags because they are one way for me to wear structure comfortably - no issues with fit or movement. it's like the bag equivalent of a trench coat, an item I would love to wear but can't seem to find.

I like the idea of structure more than the reality in clothing. This is one of the issues I am flailing around with these days. I need to write a post and ask you all your thoughts....
