I somehow avoided the news, which came as a very unwelcome surprise this afternoon. (Las Vegas?? Is something happening in Las Vegas?) It's so hard to grapple with how humans behave to one another, sometimes. So sad for everyone involved.

Don't have words for it is correct.

Can't imagine the pain and suffering of the families, or of the survivors. There are many who will have a long road to healing.

I am also thinking of the victims of this awful tragedy, people out having fun at a concert on holiday. It is beyond tragic and awful and that someone can accumulate that sort of weaponry is just wrong on all levels.
