The boots and loafers are in my closet at home already. But I don't have a solid cream scarf or bag to go with them yet. I have white and off-white bags - but not cream (how is that even remotely possible???)

So I'm building a cream complement by adding a light oatmeal scarf, and cream barrel crossbody. I'm sticking to solids because I wear a lot of pattern.

By building a pretty cream complement - that matches the colour of my hair - I can add two to three of these items to an outfit and it will magically pull it together. It's a handy styling tool.

This is an example of how I focus on Wardrobe Planning instead of Outfit Creation (see Suntiger's thread). I've found that when you build your wardrobe with the right pieces, the outfits fall into place very easily.
