We're returning Hubby's Christmas present to me (his heart was in the right place and I feel horrible returning something he put so much thought into, but it just won't work for me) and so I find myself with some money to spend and since I already ordered my serger (whoohoo!) I'm thinking about springing for some good knee high boots that will actually fit my big fit and skinny calves.

I think they'll fit my style really well, but are they too trendy for longevity? My hope is to keep these boots for a long, long time (resoling as necessary). What do you girls think?
