Ok, now on the Dickens side of the equation, Zadie Smith has a piece about trying to avoid writing the Dickensian novel all her life in the latest New Yorker. I haven't finished it yet, but by coincidence, I recently re-read David Copperfield, so I am finding all this Dickens stuff pretty interesting. Not to mention all those details about Prince's incredible productivity. Honestly, it makes me ashamed of myself. How do these people -- NIck Horby and Zadie Smith included -- do it??????
