Oh wow. What a wonderful thread. So many beautiful items, and they all scream out someone's name so strongly... Love it (and I hope some of you will get some of these things!!)
I don't know if I have the time/patience to find actual items to put together. But I want to play, so instead of finding specific pieces I will describe 2 types of outfits that I consider very "me":
1) Pencil skirt in some black & white pattern, black boots, shirt/blouse with some interesting detail (maybe ruffles), and a patterned vest/sleeveless top over it. The top part of the outfit features either red or fuchsia, in the shirt/blouse or the vest.
2) Straight jeans, fabulous flats or low-heel pumps in a bright color and/or funky style/pattern, cropped jacket/blazer in black with some red or white, top in a bright color with interesting detail, a bright scarf, funky earrings.
They are both types outfits I already wear, and will wear a lot this fall, and already know that when I put them together I will feel the most "me". I'll wear other things, too, like dresses, tunics over skinnies, A-line skirts with cardis etc. etc. but the above are my faves because they are layered and offer the opportunity to play with contrasts like sexy skirt with tough boots etc.
And now of course it would be fun to hunt for designer pieces to take this all to a whole new level, but why make myself drool over things I can't have
