These Booties with Dresses/Skirts?

Hi lovely ladies,

Please excuse my end of day, sans makeup mixed with exhaustion look! I'm just having a play:)

I just loved Shannon's outfit today

and it reminded me of a dress I have and my red booties. I have only worn these booties with jeans but am wondering if they might look ok with a skirt/dress?

They are new, bought this past winter, and have more of a squared toe box. Heel is about 2 inches.

This is so not styled! I just threw on the dress and a slouchy top to create the general idea of the outfit.

Honest thoughts please on if these booties could/should be worn with dresses. They have been languishing a little in my closet and if they are skirt worthy, I might be able to get some more wear out of them before the summer hits.

Yes. Especially if the dress is just at the knee, a bit above the knee, or tapered if it is below the knee, like a pencil skirt. Beautiful booties.

I agree with Denise. The boots are very nicely tapered and fit the ankle really well. I love the color too.

Absolutely! I think the booties are beautiful and will work very well with knee length skirts. You could try adding a sheer dark hose for less contrast if you prefer, but they are fine as is too.

I think these boot idea can totally work! They are slim fit enough to your ankles.

I think the booties will work well with skirts and dresses too. They fit fairly closely at your ankle which makes them work in my book.

Thank you so much for taking the time to look at these. I am thrilled that you all think they work with skirts. I just wasn't sure. When I have them on and look down on them they look a little chunky but I realise that is the angle other people will be viewing them from.
