These ballet flats?

Okay it's time for a new pair of summer flats. I saw these and thought, hmm!

They're ballet flats, bit gladiator, and leather. And inexpensive too!

Bear in mind I have larger feet, usually wear an 11. I could try zappos or something and scout about. But I'm rather not feeling it lately. I'm also over Target. Don't get me wrong, I love a pair of inexpensive summer sandals from Target! But they do wear out fast and real leather would be a good change for me.

Stule wise I think they're lovely but wonder if they're glam enough for me.

Wonderful shoes! From the picture, they look very elegant. Would it be difficult to order and then return them?

Elle, good question! They ship directly from the cobbler's bench in Italy. So not terrible to return but not a quick post either. They seem like a nice small independent company, which also piques my interest.

They look comfortable. Not sure about the glam factor, though. And I am with you. Real leather all the way, especially in summer!

I like the black shoes for your Rita style..the beige not so much...I hope this doesn't confuse you...smile...

I like them a lot. Don't understand how they can make them that inexpensively in real leather.

They look super comfortable...the deal breaker for me is the rounded toe.
If you are ok with that - go for them!

Thistle, yeah they're don't say...kapow! glam! But they do look comfortable.

Crutcher, you only made me feel better not confused! The black is better for me. The beige isn't enough oomph for me and my Rita outfits even though I wanted to go beige because it's summer and it seems more summery.

Old Chic, I have the same question. My only thought is, there is no middleman, no designer label, no frills. An acquaintance of mine frequently visits Vietnam for extended periods. She always comes back with loads of high quality silk fabric to sew with. She said it's insanely inexpensive because she buys it direct there, where it's made.

I'll let you know what the quality is like!

Merwoman, not sure about that rounded toe to be honest. That's probably the only thing that makes me question them. It's not an extremely rounded toe, though. I might still try them. I've looked at them 3 times over the last month. Might be worth trying at least to see if the pass IRL and photos

If you decide to push the button and buy these little sweeties, please report your feelings..I would like to order a pair too if they are ok...(Nothing like putting the guinea pig role on you, my dear Rita...)

There is glam in what looks like a luxurious shoe. If the color goes well with your skin, they will go with everything. To me they look timeless. The toe looks more almond shaped than round.

I'm going to be the voice of caution here. I love the way the shoe looks. Have you ever tried this type of shoe before? The only way to put it on and off is the zip on the heel. The straps over the arch do not appear to be adjustable. That means if it doesn't fit your arch. It could potentially slip, or feel too tight. IMO back of the heel zippers can be annoying. Sorry for spoiling the fun.

Joy, thank you for weighing in!! Yes... it's more almond. I may just go ahead and get 1 of each color and see what I like best. My black gladiator sandals are completely worn out and need replacing.

Staysfit, I'm glad for your voice of reason I have several pairs of sandals with back ankle zips and usually find they work. But it is a good reminder. Sometimes the too straps do slip some. I'll be seeing how they fit!
