Hello Everyone!

I've recently returned from three weeks in England....I feel like I've been away for ages. I've decided I must get better at posting WIWs. I did manage to post a few via my phone while I was away, but am generally lazy and have decided I need to get better at posting and not just lurking.

That said....we spent a week in England at my MIL's house...about 20 minutes east of London, then went to Northern Ireland for four days to visit other relatives, came back and went to Paris a few days later. We left Paris and went back to England for another week and then came home..

I admit, I missed my own bed and shower but other than that I was completely content. I absolutely LOVED the weather. Most people don't care for the English weather but it seems to suit me just fine. Being back in the humid, sticky Florida weather is a bit sad.....

In England, the temps stayed below 65 most of the time and in NI, it was even cooler. The warmest day we had was in Paris where it was about 74 F.

I tried to pack lightly but generally fail at that....I like to have choices. I tried to keep colours simple. I packed around a base of navy and black and added red and turquoise as accent colours. Creating a capsule based on these colours worked really well because everything went together so easily.
I was also fortunate because we were able to do laundry so we didn't come home with cases full of dirty clothes.

ETA: I did manage to squeeze in a few hours for shopping and bought three cardigans (like I really need them in Florida, right??!!) Two blouses and one pair of sandals. Will post photos soon.
