Hi Angie,

I love the way you wear these trousers from the NAS: slim, yet with a fresh ease. I sew, and would like to stitch up a pair for myself. Knowing the hem circumference will help me accurately draft the silhouette. I tried asking for the info through Nordstrom live chat, but since the item is sold out... they thought I was crazy to still want the information!

Your blog is an inspiration for real women!! I read it daily.

Great question, Kathleen - I'm curious, too, since I may narrow some pants to that particular width, which looks divine.

Well, I was surprised those trousers are 13.5 inches at the bottom! That's a skinny, formfitting pant on my body, but they don't look skinny on Angie!... hmmm..... With my thighs, calves, etc. I probably need a slightly wider leg to achieve the same look. I do love the scrunch at the ankle, and wonder if it would look ok with a slightly wider leg.
