hi everyone,i have been absent with postings for a while but I have been hovering about as I still need my ylf fix! one of my favourite things to do is to go on veteran members pages and look at their first ylf wiws and compare them to newer ones.the results are fascinating,the style evoluation is really inspirational.does anyone else do this? and what are your thoughts.i know fashions change over seasons etc regardless .I hope to do this when I have a few more postings to compare.would anybody like to post their first and latest pics together along with any thoughts on what they have gained and learnt from posting on here?

Hee hee. I came here with a particular short shorts cami outfit. Could I pull it off? Probably. Did it feel somehow 'off' since I had passed 40? yep
The most recent remarkable change I could post is my DVF dress. Mostly that I for some reason never 'allowed' myself to spend that kind of money, though I knew I really loved and wanted one.
So, the first outfit was bought at Beall's Outlet from the juniors section for probably $25 total and the dress was my first big splurge (still only $136 off eBay - I don't ever see a need to spend more if I don't have to )

so feeling your dvf situation want one badly myself.have actually been stalking a barbour wax coat for four years and just got one on sale,how sad is that!

I have learned so much, and really narrowed down my style goals. Here are two of my first WIWs from a year ago, and then a couple of my favourite outfits recently.

My first outfits were made up of older things in a more romantic style from when I was an undergrad, plus clothes bought when I was pregnant and at home. When I joined, I was just back to work, and my son was 10 months old. I have lost about 10lbs in the past year which has changed my shape too.

ceit look at the confidence of your pictures, 4 to 6 really says look at me I'm here this is me and the happiness factor is sky high. I really hope I have that in my posts when I get to compare.
