I wanted to share what I bought yesterday. I have wanted the pants for a while but I couldn't rationalize paying full price. The pants are 31" long. That may be one inch too short, but I am hopeful.

The three tops are very similar. In the past, I had a problem with duplication and I am trying to put an end to that today. Still one of the forum members spoke so highly of Eileen Fisher linen tops that I really want to try them.

So I am pretty excited. With any luck, the packages will be delivered sometime next week.

Looks great - hope that the items work out.

Unless you are 6ft tall - 31 inches on a tapered leg style like that should be plenty length.

I have been drooling over those two linen tops for ages. The duty on them is crazy to Canada, so I was really hoping I'd find them in the Ottawa Nordies when I went... but no luck.

The other pink top looks like the same fabric as my dress. The colour is amazing.

I think these look great, Sterling! Love the colors of the tops. I duplicate when something works. If I didn't I'd have way too much black and pink and very little else. Black because choosing something other than black (or maybe white) wouldn't work with as much in my closet. Pink because, if I'm going to choose a color, it's my favorite. Hope these work for you!

Good luck with all. Those are some great choices.

I have an interesting "relationship" with EF now. I first ever tried EF 2 years ago when I got gray silk track pants. Since then I've kept cruising through the store here that carries items and ordered a few online. Many of the cuts and styles do not work for me as tops are often
cut too low, or too sheer, or too casual, or something, but I can tell that there is something going on with fabrications and styles and colors that I like, so I keep checking and waiting for the right item to come along.

Sterling, I just added that skirt and noticed your post. I tried it on today at Nordstrom, didn't buy it, and then had second thoughts. I've called the store to try to buy it, if they can find it. On me it is a midi length, and I found it surprisingly flattering.
And guess what I also tried on? The cap sleeve organic linen and cotton top. I really, really liked it on, too. Didn't get it because I am wanting shorter tops right now, and none of the colors was perfect for me. (If the purple or blue had been just the right shade, I would have taken the plunge.)
Speaking of duplicating, I do that too. If it's a style, shape, or color I love to wear, why not?

And I like the colours and shapes of the tops very much.

I think there are pros and cons with duplicating, I have had some great successes and it makes mixing and matching much easier. In this case the pieces are different colours and shapes so I see it as versatile. Let us know what you decide to keep!

I love everything here! Infact I have a similar skirt and pants:) I don't worry about duplicating. I recognise that I love and feel good in certain styles so in order to have the variety I need I duplicate:)

The top works as a basic so there is nothing wrong with duplicating it.
