Oh I used to love what we called “Square Dancing” aka a barn dance. My first boyfriend asked me for a dance when I was at one, aged 16, and that started our romance yay. So I guess I have a teensy bit of that gene in me
If turquoise jewelry counts I'm in, but with copper not silver!
I did used to have cowboy boots and they were super comfortable though. There are a pair of pretty teal ones I'm looking at, but already have 2 pairs of weekend only booties, so really can't justify them.
Yee haw! I am the proud owner of two pairs of western boots. One pair is white and brown with detailed stitching and studs. The other pair is bright red. In my first grade classroom, one of our traditional favorite songs is the “Cowboy Dance”. Yee hawing is great for stress reduction.
well, last year i bought, a pair of cowboyish boots, and l'm planning to bring another pair of booties back into active rotation....and i own a denim shirt....so i guess i'm in the YeeHaw lite group
I’m looking for a chambray shirt to wear with the bunny skirt. I also am white bootie twins with Angie. I have another western-ish bootie pair in black.
Xtabay, that photo is so adorable!!! Love the Mary Janes with the cowboy attire.
I have a pair of cowboy boots that I haven't worn for several years. I keep waiting for the right moment to bring them back out. Maybe the moment is approaching. I'm not quite inspired yet, though.
I like to sing Old Town Road, substituting "bike" for "horse." (Gonna take my bike to the old town road, gonna ride till I can't no more.) Such a great song.
Firecracker, thanks! I was waiting for my Nordie's cowgirl boot order to arrive, hence the Mary Jane placeholders :). Apparently, my style is returning to its roots. And YES to that song being so great, it's inspired me to break out of my fashion rut! (And bikes are probably a lot more practical than horses.)
I love a Western boot but they don’t like me. Foot shape. Although I do have one mock suede pair that I purchased at NAS a few years back but isn’t comfortable enough for wearing much.
A yes to the more streamlined jewelry, although my rings don’t fit right now.
I saw several gentlemen on the Paris metro wearing western boots last fall (one of them in a business suit). Surprising! They didn't seem like tourists, either. It was just a little nod to the cowboy thing, I guess.
