I've been pretty much off trends, but I'm intrigued by the Yee Haw Agenda, or Yee Yee Club as some call it. Western chic of all sorts has arrived on the scene in an array of styles, including some at Nordstrom's (see below). I probably won't go whole-hog like Li'l Nas and Cardi B (after all, I'm not a rapper), but it seems like a good way to spice up an outfit. Over to you -- any interest in hopping on the Yee Yee train?

I thrifted a western wear shirt this summer and I'm digging the longer collar points. Since I like denim and double denim, I could see myself going down that 'ole town road!'

I love hints of western so I'll be seeing you on that road too. I am regularly told I look like a cowgirl (when wearing jeans and boots)--all I need is a stetson and a horse.

I live in the Wild West, and have several pairs of Western boots. I just wear them with regular clothes, though. No hats or other western items for me.

I’ve just realised I’ve always had a pair of two-tone short cowboy boots in my closet. They go away and then a new pair somehow gets in. I apparently don’t evolve, think it’s a new day but it’s not... is this why I like WestWorld? Lol. Currently the boots are ivory and greige. Before it was red and ivory.

Saw L'il Nas at a festival earlier this summer: he was wearing head-to-toe Western black-and-white leather. It was a great stage outfit!

My husband spent a large part of his childhood in Montana and as a result is allergic to anything country. I've gradually learned to steer away from anything too literal, even though I like a little prairie chic myself (especially for summer)!

Xtbay, I'm in the never say never camp. Last year I vowed I would have nothing to do with it...and the very same day, I went out and bought a Western style belt! Which.I proceeded to wear more than any other belt in my closet.

I am also the proud and happy owner of THREE sets of what I might call "Western-lite" booties -- a cross between a cowboy influenced bootie and a Chelsea.

Plus, two more identical-but-for-colour booties that actually have the name "Western." Although truth be told, IRL they just look like high shaft almond toed booties. The Blondos, however, do have a distinctly (if gently) Western vibe on the foot.

I have a sweet spot for cowboy boots and western style in general. I have a pair of Frye cowboy boots and a pair of Western style booties. I wear denim on denim (right now as a matter of fact). If a Western style shirt appeared in my closet I wouldn`t complain.

Oh yes. My “impressive piece” Is probably my vintage burgundy cowboy boots. It has led to a small family of western style boots living in my closet.

Not for me, although, like notsaf, I could get on board with a little bit of prairie chic (calico is only a couple steps removed from a Liberty print, after all).

What I actually super love is the Southwestern combination of calico and turquoise/silver jewelry. But it feels a bit appropriative to contemplate wearing that style? (I'm of northern European heritage.) Hmm, I need to think about that further, if there's a way to do it that would feel okay/respectful.

Oh, also, my most worn shirt in my closet is a J. Crew denim with western-style pockets.

And in the 90s I owned an authentic pair of cowboy boots in a fabulous turquoise colour. I LOVED those boots. That was back in the days when boot cuts weren't "baby" and skinnies weren't on the horizon.

Not for me - our rural/ non urban look here is different so I would feel a bit like I was wearing a costume. I guess I do have two pairs of boots with a Cuban heel but I don’t see them as western.

I do like seeing it on others though.

Only in small touches so the overall vibe doesn’t say western. Ironically, I wear more of it (in the form of cowboy boots) than my husband who actually grew up in TX and is a cattle rancher.

I have three pairs of cowboy boots that I wore a ton a few years ago and then sort of abandoned for booties. Now with bootcut jeans coming back around, I think I’ll wear them more.

I think cowboy are fabulous. They always look good on men and women to my eye.

I just collected this Don't like the way it's styled, but fancy the Western frock. I would add a whole of pretty. A turtleneck underneath could look gorgeously '70s with tall boots.

LOL, Cee. I am out. Although I live in the Wild West, I feel like I anything Western is not me and just got rid of a Western style flannel shirt that had perfect colors in the plaid...blush and olive. I do have a pair of snake SEbooties that look Western under long jeans. A few years from now I may feel differently.
