For me, that means shopping downtown with client at top speed - (I walk very fast) - and having fashionable footwear that is very comfortable.

I shopped with a client for 6 hours yesterday and wore the white Franco Sarto Holts (with Bodyglide). VERY comfortable. Not a blister, scrape, ache or pain. Sheer pleasure. I could have walked in these shoes another 6 hours. This is a very rare find with a Summer shoe. They are coming with me on our Euro trip.

I might double up on a pair when I get back.

That's great to know Angie. I wasn't that interested in them because of the beige straps, but the black/white ones are grabbing my eye now..

How is the sizing on them? Compare to the Okala... I know my size in those and we both have them.

Elizabeth, they run TTS. I have the Holts and the Okalas in a US 6.5, which is my size.

It IS, Linda. Perhaps I'll get the gold? Or another pair of white.

I am more comfortable in the right fashion shoe, than I am in sneakers.

I am happy for you Angie - nothing can beat the comfortable and stylish footwear ion my book!
I think my Franco Sarto sandals I got in Boston last spring are similar in style with the exception of an open tow upper instead of closed pointy toe and they are quite comfortable too.

Angie -- I currently revamping my shoe capsule. I would very much like to add these shoes. I have a normal volume, but wide foot. Do you think these would work?

Franco Sarto have always been one of my favorites lines for exactly that reason: they always seem to be comfortable. If not insanely comfortable, then more comfortable than a person would expect for the particular shoe, if that makes sense. Strappy 3" heels are still going to be strappy 3" heels, but they'll feel a lot more like non-strappy 2 1/2" heels if they are made by Franco Sarto. Franco Sarto just gets me.

I do, Sterling. I don't have narrow feet, and like a roomy toe box. There is lots of room in this shoe. And the pointy shape is not restricting. Plus the leather is very soft.

Thanks, Angie. I measured and my ankles are each 7.5 inches around. Last year when looking for ankle straps I ended up with straps that hit low below the ankle.

Angie, do you think they would be supportive enough for me? I.e. is there a tiny lift in the wedge? The strap will help with comfort for me. Some of my discomfort in flats has to do with needing to grip constantly with my toes to hold them on. Shoes with straps remove that obstacle and keep me more secure. These could end up being my "white sandal."

Suz, there is no tiny wedge lift in the heel. They are not completely flat though. With very flat shoes, you can often feel the ground below the soles. That is not the case with these sandals. Don't know if that helps.
