You know what I'm noticing, the single cuff turn up. Ha! I thought it worked in current looks, and not just because it's a hipster constant.
I'm also noticing how they balanced volume over volume with the structure of skin.
Personally if I ever really want to try out the idea of boyfriend jeans (and not my current defaults of my boyfriend's jeans or stretched out skinnies), I think I'll probably go for the oldest large pair I can find in the men's section of the thrift store, distressing and stains a plus, and hunt through until I can get a slightly tapered ankle. I had a distressed pair of men's jeans that I bought in Italy and absolutely loved, but they finally tore out the whole knee and my patches got patches and the fabric was getting tissuey. But something combining softness with volume would be nice.
