I have worn them tall and short and both ways are ridiculously comfortable and look exactly as I'd hoped. I spent a day in the short version and felt like I was wearing slippers. The convertibility makes it possible that I won't need any other boots should I travel with them,

Testify, sole sister! I have worn mine tall with skinnies, leggings, and tights. Short with skinnies, cropped pants, and under straight leg/wider skinnies.

I am also loving the heel on them... somehow they feel more leg-lengthening than they should be at that heel height and take away my anxiety about having big clown feet (which I often get when wearing flat and low-heeled shoes).

Yes! They are sleek and tough at the same time. And the heel feels like nothing. I wish I'd taken a pic with the grey skinnies because all my booties and skinnies woes were solved with these babies. They cover all the bases. *sighing happily*

I love mine too! They went with me to Shoptoberfest (sans the chaps) and any shoe that can keep up with that level of shopping is a winner.

I keep seeing comments about the heel being too high, but I swear, the heel is practically unnoticeable to me. These are all-day shoes without a doubt. I think of them as flats.

At the rate I'm going, the CPW will be very small in no time, and I normally don't think much about CPW.

I can't do more than a 1.5" heel without paying for it for days after. Even 1.5" is verging on uncomfortable for my knee, I have to swap shoes often and really pay attention to how my feet feel.

Yes, I love the look of them, too, but like Ceit, 1.5" is my limit. Sigh.

Thanks for sharing how much joy you're getting out of the Cortonas. With my boot collection, I'm having a hard time justifying adding these, especially at that price point. But every time one of you lovelies posts about them I WANT them soooo much. And I just got a surprise refund from my mortgage company that would pay for them. Oh the dilemma.
