They are pretty dang cute. They are a burnished silver/pewter, not super flashy, and the heel is a fun retro look. The main issue is that I ordered 6.5 and they run TTS unlike most Topshop boots which run small. Even so, I think a size down (they run in half sizes, so 5.5 or 6.5) would be too small with winter socks, especially since I have high volume feet. The ankle is not gappy although it also isn't a snug fit on me. The soles are slippery but i always get grippy soles put on my boots.
I expect I will scuff them as I do most shoes - still, I think they are a keep!
