I always wondered when do we get to the stage when you use Angie's rule of one in, one out and I always thought that this would be the time when I had a fabulous wardrobe to begin with.
However in the past week I have been going trough DD, DH and my wardrobe changing it to spring/ summer appropriate clothes and realized that the amount of clothes I hav for the season are enough.
As I've stated before I like to have a smallish wardrobe that I can mix and match , and the numbers are good, there are just some things that need replacement .And I have a list to shop with ( insert big smile here).
My substitutions have basically to do with upgrading my summer wardrobe to better and more breathable materials for our hot summers and don't need camis underneath, and some items that look old and had too much wear.
For the ones of you that might be curious it is as follows
-substitute 1 dressier top for another one of good quality, I still don't know which one is out but there are a couple of just ok tops in this situation.
- substitute 2 dresses that are not in thir best shape anymore.
-substitute a summer skirt for a white one.
- buy 2 /3 cotton t-shirts to substitute the ones that are shapeless and stained.
I will probably will have to buy a dress for a wedding in July that is not a substitution but that's about it.
I will post the 'off you go' in the forum.I would love your help preventing me from mistakes.
Sorry for the lengthy post, just wanted to share.Than you for looking.
