Okay laundry list forthcoming..

1.Poor quality
2.Overly deep armholes-poor fit in general really.
3. Leggings/tights worn as pants (and not in a fitness setting-particularly hideous in plus size pears...seen at my workplace on stubborn fashion victim customers unfortunately.Which brings me to ..
4. The thought that every bodysize and bodyshape should hop onboard every trend and sillouette and will look great equally worn the exact same way ,shape ,color etc. This leads to women wearing control top panty hose as pants .Um . NO!
5.I see nothing funny, cute,or at all nice in false advertising or sexualizing children. Clothing tells others stuff about us. If a girl is jailbait by law then it is quite inappropriate to advertise her as available when she really isn't (no one 12 or under should have any use for crotchless panties for instance -there was a big stink about a kids clothing store in CA having some instock .)
6.Lack of year-round access to basic needed items for a wardrobe -especially in plus-sizes. Men need a basic suit or khaki pant or jeans? Run in the local Dept. store and you can find a whole bunch, different pricepoints/quality/fabrications but availiable and often with free basic tailoring.
Women (especially Plus sized) Hmm...you need khaki pants for your job at _____ sorry try back next season ,we don't have ANYTHING except some pedal pushers in spring and some tight capris/crops in summer.
Ma'am you need a nice office dress and you are 5'7" ? dress is 6" above the knee and'll get you sent home . Need a suit in SUMMER ? --whoa baby are you outta luck ! Maxi strappy summer jersey dresses(shown with flipflops??)And we wonder why men get promoted at the bank...?
7.Lack of needed sizes.Talls,Petites (and not just in pants)different combos for bra sizes small band BIIIIIIIIIIG cups, and the reverse ,large bands and small cup sizes. And availiable whereever you can fit a top sold there.Shoe sizes in higher sizes and a variety of widths (I'm a W ,or WW. My Grams is a AAAA in the foot with a AAAAA heel)and boots in a variety of ankle and calf sizes ,info listed thuroughly .
8.Saggy pants on either gender(not talking slouchy -I'm talking poor fit ) Pull the pants up (guys who are holding on to thier pants )or get a smaller size .
9.Visible underwear -sagging pants ,thongs, standard bra strap showing(saw a woman wearing a basic white bra with a sweetheart strapless black eve/cocktail dress while obviously out on a date Soooo tacky!)
9.Over ornamentation& logos -if you want to adverise your product you better be paying ME to splash a logo across my 40h chest!
10 . Personal taste here -since I read a book about wardrobe mistakes - Squared artificial nails -they really DO look like little stubby shovels on the fingertips.Squoval or oval look much more graceful/natural.

Oh my goodness, where to begin??? Exposed zippers and buttons are the least of my pet peeves... I am a thin person but I can't stand wearing skinny jeans anymore! And how about girls wearing basically see-through leggings as trousers? So happy bootcut jeans are on their way back. Floral prints can go, and all the 80s neon colours scrunchies, etc. I bought a cute shirt-dress from H&M without trying it on, only to realise later that it has HUGE armholes--what is the point of this? It's the 80's monster again...

I am loving the riding boots trend and the general Fall styles.. much better than last Spring!

I am so sick of the two default styles for teen/20-something ladies: bumming-it-clothes or SEXY clothes. I see this all the time with my younger cousins and hate it. They'll either wear completely casual loungewear/athleticwear, leggings as pants, PJs to class, etc., or they're done up to look as sexy as possible (which I don't find sexy at all). Everything is skintight, short, low-cut, legs AND cleavage out, and worn with huge stilettos. I am all for looking comfortable and sexy, but the trend is to dress as if there are no other possible options. No ladylike, feminine, androgynous, presentable, quirky, classic, arty...no style descriptors other than totally casual half the time and OTT sexy the rest of the time. And always with a ton of makeup whether you're wearing sweats or a bandage dress. Bonus points if you can see your foundation line because your makeup is too orange for your face. If you know any teens or college students you know the look. I would love to see any subtlety or personal style.

I also hate when anyone wears nonprescription eyeglasses as a fashion accessory. I am extremely nearsighted and am lucky to live in a time where glasses and contacts can correct my disability. Yes, my frames look cool, but they're a medically necessary accessory. We don't co-opt other medical accessories. If you're wearing fake frames you're getting the side-eye from me!

Late to this fun thread, but I have to bite. I'm happy if people are finding what they like out there, and I don't want to take that away from them, but I'm having a hard time finding tops that aren't:

throw away trendy
100% polyester
made with wide gaping or low necklines
completely see-through

I'd be happy if super thin T's go away (that show every lump and bump). I'd like it if expensive silk designer blouses weren't so thin and flimsy that a few hand washings would unravel and destroy them completely.

It would be nice if all summer dresses that weren't "career wear" had a bit more coverage up top (not spaghetti straps) and a little more length at the bottom--all in the same dress, please. Oh, and can we have them in a natural, woven fabric? *sigh* Well, I can always dream, right?

1. Acrylic knitwear. Wool, where have you gone?
2. Platforms on shoes. Half-inch platforms still look fine, but the exaggerated ones just hurt my eyes. Surely the pendulum is swinging back by now?
3. Ankle pants. You've all already articulated why. Bah.
4. Oversized handbags (or nothing between huge bags and crossbody bags). This feels like it's been an issue for a decade now. I don't need to carry my entire household in a purse.
5. Branding on bags. So many fun bags, so much garish branding (Michael Kors, I'm looking straight at you).

Feel free to send me your studs camo and platforms. My biggest fashion pet peeve is sizing inconsistancy.,
