I figured facing my issue straight on will help me move past it! lol
These are my temptations this month. Actually, the skirt has tickled my fancy on and off for a couple of months.
Ironically, I'm most hesitant about the tee because it's $80. But I wear tees a lot these days, so CPW would say that's a smarter buy than the dressier skirt at $36 that I'd maybe wear 4 or 5 times a year. But I'm head over heels for it. The dress is a bargain, but not a core color of mine. Yet, the easy style with just a little funky cut outs appeals to me for daytime in FL.
So, those are my July temptations I'm holding out on. Feel free to tell me I don't need any of them, even come August!

Oh no Mo! This is akin to me smelling someone's coffee when I'm trying not to drink coffee. I'm so weak!
No, you don't need them, and hopefully you won't even want them by August. There will always be new pretties out there in retail land.

Good girls! The tee is a cashmere modal blend, hence the hefty price. But can't you just imagine the softness?? Mmmm, modal/cashmere. mmmmm LOL

Just say no! the new shorts are lovely so the skirt is a close duplicate. The Tee is crazy pricey and itchy! Just say that over and over - it is very very itchy. We won't talk about the dress. No to the Mo!

I'd say maybe in August for the dress - but the other two, I know you can live without. What makes the tee worth $80 I wonder? Is it silk? From the image it just sort of looks like a regular gray tee. And it does look a bit itchy now that Glory mentions it. ;-).

Thanks for shoring me up, all! And now I have a fun new internal catch phrase - no to the Mo. I love it! I won't share it with the BF because I already hear way too much of our other household catchphrase "bad Mo!"

I had a cashmere-modal tee! Very thin and drapey and soft. I loved it. Until the fourth or fifth time I wore it, when it developed that belt-buckle hole.

Hmmm, cashmere might be soft but I wouldn't want to wear it in hot summer. The skirt is not nearly as pretty as your shorts. ANd the dress...didn't you recently list the number of dresses you have vs the number of times you have to wear a dress??

I'm with the others. You don't need any of these. And honestly, even though I'm positive they'd all look fantastic on you, none of them screams "Mo".

I say no 'cause:

skirt = very similar to your shiny shorts (same role)

t shirt is too expensive, and I think you can maybe get one for less with modal plus something soft (maybe not cashmere),

the dress pattern and color don't say 'Mo' to me, although the shape and cut-outs do.

If you have shiny shorts you don't need the skirt. Shorts are much more fun.
Tee is average, probably would develop a hole.
I do like the dress but it can wait til August or get something else in it's place.
It seems to me you really want to avoid spending in June and July and if you cave then you will regret it.....I hope I am not speaking out of turn here.

August is just a couple of weeks away and by then you may see something else or these will be on clearance. No buy July means fabulous fall.
