They look gorgeous. What a perfect splurge for you.

Love, love, love! I was going to ask if they slide down, as that was a deal breaker for me with the Ash OTK sneakers. My legs are difficult though, with thin ankles and knees and muscular (yeah, that's it) calves and thighs.

Perfection in a burgundy boot. Wow!

Those are great! I don't think I have the discipline to save for 2 years so kudos to you. I love the blue ones too. Maybe I can find a knock off version...

OMG!

I WANT!

but what do i do with my wonder women thighs. But I must find a way to try them.at least once.

thumbs up for saving for these.

WOW!! Stunning boots, Una!

I knew they would be perfect for you. It was fate.

They are really beautiful and look perfect on you. And I think that pet fur on clothes is very chic!

Absolutely gorgeous, Una! But SW. For me, usually too narrow in the footbed to work around the problem areas on my not-wide-but-increasingly-fussy feet.

And yet -- the calves on those boots appear to be actually quite narrow, which is exactly what I need in a boot and can never find.

Can you comment a little on the fit?

They are gorgeous. I would never take them off. Imagine the possibilities.

P.S. I see that there are 23 pages of customer reviews on fit, but of course I trust our own YLFers more. Because reading online reviews often goes like this: "Best boots ever, best boots ever (repeat 300 times) ABSOLUTE WORST BOOTS EVER DO NOT BUY NO MATTER WHAT".

I usually just decide that that there is always one outlier who had a bad experience or is possibly crazy and skip over that one bad review.

But here we have someone who claims to have bought these boots in the olive green color. SWOON Olive green suede OTK boots?

And yet -- these boots do not appear to offered in olive green, unless the mysteriously named "Londra" or "Topo" is actually olive green. On my monitor, however, both appear to be shades of gray.

It's interesting that most of the reviews mention the customer's heights and they all seem to be shorter ladies. I am always attracted to OTK boots but I don't think any exist that are tall enough and wide enough at the top for a long-legged 5'7" woman with pudgy knees and thighs. Even the 50/50s didn't really cover my knees.

whoa! Those are gorgeous on you. They just make the whole outfit, which is fabulous. I like your addition of the necklace. In drafty weather, a scarf could perform the same function, too.

Oh my goodness, Una! Masterpiece, traffic-stopping, signature boots. I ADORE them.
