I have been searching high and low for alternatives to the Twynkle sneaker for a few weeks now, to meet the BF halfway. Asking things like "is it the studs?" or the color? When I look at wedge styles he likes them better only if they aren't studded. The plainer the better, I'm realizing. But then he says he doesn't really like the style at all, it's just the best of the lot. Sigh.
I just can't seem to find a substitute that makes me happy that he even likes, so my thinking is why compromise on an item he doesn't care for in the first place. I usually consider his opinion when buying.
I think I am going to have to just leave him out of this one and follow my heart. Sure, he's going to roll his eyes the first few times a wear them, but hey, they are my feet, not his, right?
