I have been a big fan of Kate's style for a long time. I love pretty much everything she wears (especially her cream coat!). I'm also always jealous of the fascinators she wears; actually, I'm pretty much jealous of anyone who lives in a country where fascinators are expected (I do wear mine occasionally, but it certainly isn't common in the US).
As soon as I saw the ring I knew it was Diana's, which is a really nice touch. Part of me always feels like an engagement ring from a marriage that ended in divorce is a bit of bad luck, but it is a gorgeous ring and it was his dead mother's, so who am I to quibble? I hope that her ring, along with Jessica Simpson's ruby--might start a bit of a trend and help some people think a bit outside of the box and consider going with a colored stone, rather than the typical diamond.
