The gold ones from the Gap did not work out for my foot - nothing ventured nothing gained.I think my patience has now paid off because I found these converse which I have tried on IRL and quite like them.
They have a vintage look to them. Of course now I need to decide on colour.
Most of my spring summer wardrobe is navy, white, a bit of black and a couple pops of pink (fuscia) and jeans.
My shorts are navy, white, black, denim. Ditto for capris.I also wear white and denim jeans.
For footwear I have tan minnetonkas, pewter sperrys, black toms, and various sandals, etc.
