Saw this purse at Target. I toy with the idea of a satchel, but I don't carry purses. If I did, this would be my purse of the year. I do like Target purses because their fakeness makes them lightweight...

I think I should check out Target's purses more often. That one is fun! I don't like to switch mine out but I also get bored after a season or two, so I don't demand a high quality purse.

I do love to look at Target purses. I have a few that have lasted me years and years, from when I did use them (mostly for just going to work in an office).

Ooh I like that one Rachy. Target purses are great for kickin' around or
taking to places that are potentially dingy (baseball games I'm looking
your way). Easy to clean! Some of them do last a surprisingly long time.

Target is often quick to get bags that are on trend in style or color, so it's an inexpensive way to try something new.
I like that bone fringey bag. It looks big enough but not too big.

I'm fringe- impaired , as I do like some types of very supple suede, moderate amount of fringe but then that's hard to find in right purse and price point and wonder if I would wear if enough before it looks " over". So usually I sit on the sidelines.

Unfrumped, it's so funny how as a trend sticks around, even if we initially don't care for it, we start to see how it could work for us. I've never been much of a fringe person, but I have been a little tempted by a piece or two. But I am now feeling the same way you are -- hesitant to buy in case the trend is really waning. I think in a case like this where it didn't feel much like "me" to begin with, it's a sign that I can pass on it so I won't feel like I wasted money when the trend dies out. If it's a trend that excites me from the beginning, chances are I'll continue to wear it even as the trend is passing (mixed media, bootcuts, etc.).

If that little round Target bag I posted came in a slightly larger size and maybe in grey, I would have pounced. It's just the right amount of fringe, and a really easy price point for a trendy piece.

I think you should go back and get it. I'm not a fringe girl but I love seeing others wear it. I have been tempted by a few very subtle pieces recently too. I really likes the long fringe tassel on msmary's purse in her last post so my wheels are turning.
