So I've never liked my feet in flats. Low vamp styles like ballerina flats make my feet look big (which they aren't) and high vamp styles like loafers make my legs look short (which they are). With the result that I never wear flats with skirts where they can actually be seen.

So I bought this Sesto Meucci pair from Zappo's, and I'm wearing it with skirts and I love it. It's technically at least mid vamp, which reduces the gunboat effect you can get with ballerina flats, but the criss-cross lacing is so delicate that it doesn't add any visual bulk.

They have a very flexible sole and were instantly comfortable on me.
