That speaks to me for sure!
Retiring right before the pandemic ( unaware it was coming) was a double- whammy regarding finding new purpose. And in multiple dimensions , because I certainly didn’t grasp at first how things would go- only in looking back, ha. So there were things I might have done differently “ if only I’d’ve known “.
Anyway, the article almost makes me want to wear bright colors or wear some very unusual things. Almost, that is. Instead it reminds me that in pandemic- dressing , I almost WANTED to be invisible when out & about, because of avoiding contact. Now starting to hope things are going to keep getting better, and so can think about dressing less invisibly but in my own way, even as my own way still changes.
So instead I think her story has ongoing appeal for any level of “ re- boot” and certainly during these strange times.
