I went on my lunch hour today to a new vintage shop that opened up about 10 minutes from work...yeah, I know...SCY is blown out of the water!!! Anyway...found a fabulous vintage cardigan (feel like I should be lawn bowling while wearing it), flowy tomato red-white polka dot jacket, my black vintage beads (yipeee) and a beautiful vintage flower brooch. Now it took me 20 minutes to find a parking spot and I had to pay $5 for parking. But whatever...I was happy with my purchases. I got back to the office to show off my new/old goodies and lo and behold...the brooch was not in the bag...anywhere. I called the tiny and gorgeous store to tell them and the owner was not only apologetic, but has arranged for a courier to bring me the brooch to my office within the next two hours at their expense! Now THAT'S service!
