You know when you find that one piece, that, upon bringing home, you understand how good of a purchase it was, because it seems to fit with everything else you own, and even make pieces make peace between them. I love that!

You can see the dress as it is modeled on their website, you'll see it's quite different: https://www.creationsmetamorph.....ress-tunic

I would have never taken it in the dressing room from the looks of it on the rack (combined with the price, for something that felt skimpy and flimsy). It was the SA who suggested it when we were looking for a top to a pair of jeans I was sold to. I ended up not getting the jeans. Nuf said.

1-2: With my "Yoga Jeans" skinnies, Felmini pink booties, front and back.

3: With a French ultra preppy cardi from Bernard Solfin I keep for its color, warmth, quality, but that I had a hard time wearing because it's so unapologetically conservative, boxy in a classic right-wing-right-thinking-self-righteous kind of way... what do you know: add one flower brooch (actually a straw button) and with this it looks, to me, like it could work. What do you think?

4-5: Worn alone as a dress. Is it too short to wear with heeled sandals like this, given my age? Please be honest I don't mind I am ok with my age.

6-7-8: Added a oldie-goodie in the form of a sleevless Simon Chang 2007 vest.

9 - With Talbots straight winter white pants. Do you think this silhouette looks dated?

10 - With a Kookai wool sweater from 2010. Again, is this look too dated?

11 - With leather jacket.

12 - Trying a boho interpretation with Guess bell bottoms. I think I could rock this look to work (teacher), but is it frankly dated? And do I fall too much in the literture teacher cliché if I wear this?

Thank you again for looking and for your opinion!
