I like 0 and 3... they all look good though!

I like all phases but I have a slight preference for the depth in #4. But how great that you enjoy the whole grow out phase.

I can so see that hollow log and moss welcome mat. Perfect.

I'm pretty sure I'm related to hobbits.

Ohhhh Hobbits! Love them. We would be best of friends,

Janet, I just read an interview with Bobbi Brown, and she says she has to go to the salon to get her roots done every TWO weeks. That would be a tipping point to start embracing my gray somehow, for me.

I like #0 best, but all the phases are lovely! Your eyes are just beautiful, Sarah. I could stare at them all day.

May I suggest that you get shears to keep the disconnected part very short. That way you can keep the look for longer. That's how others with disconnected haircuts are doing it these days. A shave every 4 to 5 days.

I love the shape of your cut and how it showcases your beautiful features. I am also a 0 or 4 fan. I think your eyes add huge drama to either look. It is good to see the grow out process, which seems quite subtle over time. My hair is high contrast (dyed close to its original dark brown and much silver now) and grows quickly. Coloring roots every 3 weeks would be required; I love seeing people who have an attractive grow out option. You look wonderful!

Thank you Angie for the sweet compliment! I really like your suggestion about keeping the disconnected piece short. My only worry is that it would ultimately cut off all of the white and leave a completely brown patch by the third week. Although maybe that could look cool in its own way? I will have to. Think about that! I was actually most (pleasantly) surprised by you choosing the lightest, low contrast option!

Thank you so much Eliza! What a nice thing to say! And I hadn't thought so much befor about the fact that having darker roots versus light allows for longer time between touch ups. I do feel very fortunate that I don't have to go in more often! I feel like I'm there constantly already...

Actually, the different colours - or patch of brown as you described - DOES work. I've seen it look elegant, and that wearer didn't have your natural grace or gorgeous eyes.

As one blondie to another like the grow out best. Nice haircut.

Thank you Linder51!

Aw, Angie, such a compliment! Wow, thank you! I'm glad to know that you have seen it in person. I think I just may try it. I will be sure to document it to show you,

Ooh thanks for sharing these Sarah! How fun to see the transformation; subtle but still quite obvious with the very short length. Love Angie's thought of keeping that disconnected piece short, it's very distinctive. And I also like #0 best

Aida! Thanks for weighing in! This post was in a large part for you, I'm so glad you like it, and it's nice to hear another vote for Angie's idea. I will keep you posted.
