I mentioned in my summer list thread that olive shorts are the only last item to be procured. In my efforts to not be buying just to buy and actually make my purchases count, here is my reasoning.
First I purged my long standing olive capris cum bermudas late fall. They had just stretched out and become unflattering. They lasted near 10 years, so I can't begrudge them their time served lol.
I'm also hoping to purge two less worn items with this one purchase. I keep these items, and do wear them, but would love to update as I feel they make do but aren't the best choice for the role they fill.
Here is my closest approximation to what I want. I have plans tomorrow to go back to the store and see if a size up is available. http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....aty-things Even at the slightly shorter than ideal length, I feel they are so much more what I'm looking for to express my style than either the brown cord bermudas or the olive cargo skirt, despite the fact that both are flattering.
Do you think these kinds of things through when looking to upgrade?
