Y'all are dangerous around here.
I ordered the Sam Edelman Okala ankle strap pumps in the black and white with tan, and also Rae's black Ugg convertible boots in black. Both are supremely comfortable. I was compelled to try the Okalas after I saw them in a local store but in a different color (the tan animal print with black strap). I thought I'd try them on to see how the size ran and to see if they were comfortable and seemed like they'd be versatile. I liked them well enough that I decided to order the black and white version (I already have a couple of tan animal print, and I've been wanting some b&w footwear).
I also had to try Rae's convertible Ugg boots after seeing them here. I love the idea of dual purpose boots, and the style is just unique enough while still being sleek and a bit rock'n'roll. My current low-heeled black boots are still in decent shape, but they are suede and they're 6 or so years old, so I know this is a good time to start calling for backup.
The footbed of the Uggs is so comfortable! I like how they look on me, but the calves are just a bit snug with jeans tucked into them. Well, that is, ONE calf is snug. My left calf is distinctly bigger than my right (like everything else on me!).
I am thinking a cobbler might be able to stretch the width of that left boot shaft for me. Do you think that would work?
Sorry, no pics yet. Tried them on in a rush before leaving the house today. I think they may both be keepers if I can get that boot stretched.
