I think I have 30 pairs of boots, counting boots and booties. My shoe collection is dominated by boots, and by sandals in the summer. I love that these shelves are easily moved so I can switch out the shoes when the seasons change.

I was a little surprised the shoe collection didn't look more overwhelming, but I did do some culling in the last few months. Another pair of booties and another pair of flats made their way into the "sell" pile yesterday as I put things away. This process has been really great for reevaluating what I have. I can see everything so much better now! It was an interesting realization that my jackets and blazers take up as much room as all my tops. And I barely have any trousers.

There is a space reserved for the Old Gringo black studded cowboy boots.

I did some research first, read Angie's List reviews, etc., and they came highly recommended. I liked the hardware this company used -- it seems nice and sturdy -- and I liked that they are a locally-owned business. Very good customer service. It was not the cheapest bid we got, but I liked their product the best.

Wow! Fancy closet Looks great! I'm missing my original closet, now, in my mom's house. She had all the closets done for us. It was pretty and organised like yours. Now I've got the weird apartment closet... Lol.

30 pairs...that's very helpful information for me. I'm trying to expand my boot collection and footwear in general. Now I can stop questioning myself when I'm tempted to add more to my wardrobe for the sake of variety.

OhJanet, this is so great. I would love to live in there! You got me thinking for sure. Looks like we will stay in this house forever (that was up in the air) so why not do up my closet the way I want it. Do they design it for you? How do they figure out what you need?

Very pretty! Wish i had a better closet where everything could be organized & displayed!!! 2/3 of the closet is my husband's clothes and it crowds mine right out lol, he can't purge anything AT ALL. Not even holey socks!
