So here's a question - since bodycon is not so in right now, is this dress a mistake? I'd be wearing it under blazers and jackets even in summer, except perhaps if I travel somewhere warm...
Um, I don't think that dress could be a mistake because it is so pretty. I really like the way you wore the other B44 with the jacket. It didn't even look bodycon to me. I'd wear this somewhere warm without a second thought--as long as I didn't have my kid's friends and parents looking at me in it!
Ceit, I think it's the cool pattern - looks like something natural like striated rock. I may size up so it's not as bodycon and more like my ChaChaVente dress, which I'm very comfortable wearing.
Shannon, you're right. I'm struggling with the fact that there are so few dress styles I like at all, then of those, what works on me narrows it down even more. Thanks for keeping my head on straight. I may still try it but will keep in mind that it will have to be worn often. My eyes have been opened by wearing my current one with the right length of jacket, so perhaps that will help?
I have managed to avoid jumping on the B44 bandwagon for, what, a year now? And then you had to go and show me this! I think the more abstract, natural feel of the print makes all the difference to me. Bodycon or not, I love it. Let me know when it's less than half price, though, will ya?
Um, gorgeous but the fabric looks awfully thin. I might investigate just to see the fabric. I will report back if I do. Also the skirt is only 3 bands, I think that would make pretty short Una. The bands are more narrow than on the older Bailey dress..
