A month ago I saw a yellow blazer on Corporette. Oh, I've been looking for more yellow items, but it has to be my yellow. I prefer a slightly golden or pastel hue. This was on sale at BR Factory, down from $168. I wasn't sure, found #2 on Boden, $250, not on sale. After 2 weeks I decided on the BR and found out I had some points, so the jacket cost $68.
BR is 93% polyester, 7% spandex, machine washable.

Now, I could afford the Boden, it's just that since Covid I've trained myself to only buy sale or cheaper items.
The BR Factory jacket is a little oversize and slouchy, but I got my regular size. It arrived wrinkled, but I steamed it. I still need to press it. I put it in the to-be-ironed closet and got busy. Got it out today. Photos taken several weeks apart. Still has the price tag on, but I need some reassurance. I added an early BR jacket, (2017) that I still love and wear, but not often.
I do think I need a little makeup to wear this.
## 3,4,5 closed, open, with a Novica scarf I bought last year for the color but haven't worn yet.
##6, 7 side and back. You can see I have some kyphosis. Have been doing PT and continue exercises, but collars don't sit close to my neck.
I've been reading threads on Twitter (always Twitter to me) by Derek Guy, who's an expert on men's tailoring. This has made me extra conscious of this problem on my own self.
#8 BR patterned wool blazer bought it 2017. Sorry a fuzzy photo, but this is the way I like my blazers to fit.
I'm looking for some encouragement. Is this oversized casual blazer ok for me? The Boden is linen, which is one of the reasons I hesitate.
Tell me what you think. I'm probably going to keep it as a casual summer blazer.
Apologies for not taking time to do Finds.
