Lots of pics, sorry. The anorak is a grey/blue, whereas the one I tried in store was army green http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....hm--anorak. I tried it over a sweater and tank layered up in the second set of pics. Don't mind the shorts, I wasn't 'styling' it per se, just checking fit lol.
The blouse I tried in store was a floral. http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....-tanya-has But I wanted the white from the very start. They just didn't have it in stock at that store.
What do we think? You can tell it to me straight. I've been known to take and leave what comments I feel pertain to my style lol.

I think the anorak fits you well, especially considering you may be layering with it. I like the color too. I love the white shirt on you! Does the sheerness of the back bother you? I'd want to wear a tank or cami underneath if it were me.

Janet, I'm not sure on the sheerness . . . I honestly usually have my hair down over my back. You can't see my bra band or anything, but I did have issue with seeing the stripes of my tube skirt through it. NOT a good look.

Anna, I was thinking over my leather pants for fancy date night, BF jeans as pictured (maybe with my crop blush jacket over and lilac booties). Tried the tube skirt, but the stripes were an issue as I just mentioned. Maybe my twist black skirt would fare better.

How do you feel about the length of the front of the white blouse? I think I tried the floral version in the store and thought it was too short, like it might ride up at any minute and expose my stomach with my low-rise jeans. Which is super weird b/c I am really short-waisted, and this style is usually too LONG. But anyway, I thought it would be more versatile if it was longer in front and then you could always semi-tuck if you want a shorter look.

Anna, YES, it totally is! Maybe I am seeking 'my' white button front? I dunno. Some weird alter ego stuff at work for sure. I'm on the fence, too.

EDIT: maybe this is one of those where I'm more enamored of how it looks than thinking of how it fits in with my wardrobe. That's why I need you guys!

Love the anorak - it's like my Gap one which I adore.

Not so sure on the white shirt. I don't judge white well, but it looks awfully sheer and is it delicate? It's a pretty cut on you though. Let's see some outfits.

Hmm. Well, is it a bad sign that I love the shirt? Maybe that means it is not right for you, LOL.

Seriously, though, the cut really flatters you; I am not making that up.

But I wonder about the sheer back and would also take Diana's concern into account.

Anorak looks good for its purpose. Is it water resistant? Or more like a wind breaker kind of jacket for you? (I know it would get use -- not a question.)

I like them both, actually. And the white blouse with jeans is really nice, actually. Dunno if you would wear it with shorts, etc. as much, though.

Well, the tags are off the anorak and worn in the crazy rain today, so it's kind of a moot point anyway lol. To be honest, I bought a different size than I tried on in the store and wondered if anyone was going to call me out on it. Sneaky I am
Ditto the top, a size down from the floral I tried in store.
Suz, it did great in the rain. (exhibit A. just back from the gym) And in FL when it rains it RAINS. But I intend it to be a lightweight fall Tahoe jacket mostly. Like a sweatshirt substitute.
Laura and Suz, thank you, I really like the top aesthetically on me too. But will it work for me stylistically is the other question.

Anorak is a no-brainer. Great color. I love the gathered waist and all the details. Is it waterproof or water-repellant?

The blouse is great with jeans. I'd add a cami, if my bra was going to show, otherwise I don't think I would. Do you want it to work with other things? I think the sheerness, semi-low neck and lack of collar keep it from being too officey. You could play up the slightly semi-officeyness with a black skirt of similar construction. I'd try it with sandals.

I also ordered that shirt in white (today!). I hope it fits me as well as it does you I pulled the trigger after seeing it modeled over on ExtraPetite (http://www.extrapetite.com/201.....asics.html). She wears it pretty casually with boyfriend jeans and I think it looks great.

Personally I love the shirt. Yes it's sheer but I'd wear a tank under it anyways.

Glad to hear the anorak is useful. It's very utilitarian, but heck that's what we need for the rain & the wind, right? I picked up a navy quilted version from H&M last week for the same purpose. Nice colour.

Jackie, I totally agree! Very utilitarian. I was debating another version with faux leather sleeves and Angie actually voted for this one. I like to have a little somethin' somethin' but that can backfire when all my items end up wanting to be the 'star' LOL.
I'm good on the jacket. Still debating the shirt. Flattery vs utilization hmmmm. I do have plenty of tops that do the part but don't wow me. Maybe I do need to go out on a limb a bit with this one.

The shirt... The sheerness could be limiting. How about this Pleione on sale now? However, it is sleeveless so more for Florida. Check out the ivory color.

I'm glad you kept the anorak. Looks like a very versatile and utlilitarian piece for you. I love the white blouse from the front, but not the sheer back.

I really like the jacket, and like this color on your even more than the green (which was good too). But when I scrolled to the white top, I had that little gasp reaction. It is incredibly flattering, but maybe I'm not judging it against your style as some of the others are... Mine was just a gut reaction to how great you look in it. I actually think that the sheer back, even if it could read soft and feminine, actually gives it a little edge (sort of the sexy unexpected edge on a soft white top). I could picture it with leather pants too, which would keep it from looking corporate, and with jeans it has that sort of timeless magic that Angie gets with her crisp button downs. But then you could add a black leather studded cuff... So yeah... I guess you could say I'm pulling for the white top.

To throw a little wrench in it, I do have a very feminine top - pink AND ruffles - and I still love to wear it. Somehow it works for me. Perhaps the white could too? I dunno. Still debating. Keep the input coming, it's very helpful!

I think that the pink works in the same way - so feminine, but you've mixed it with the deconstructed jeans. It's like you're saying "I'm all woman... but don't push me because I WILL kick your butt!"

I really like them both. The white top looks great on you. I can see it with a variety of different bottoms. You could always wear a cami if you don't like the sheer back, but you have a good point that your hair will cover the sheerness.

I like them both. My hesitation on the white top is I would have to wear a cami but if the sheerness doesn't bother you it looks amazing.

Late to the post but I like both of these for you (and on you) Mo. The white blouse is sheer, but it's in back and that really doesn't bother me if you wear a pretty bra or maybe even a half cami style lacy bra...? (aerie has some but I'm sure others do too) I think the sheer back is part of what gives it more of an edge for your style. I love it with the jeans but can see it with your skirts too.

The anorak looks perfect!
