Ever since seeing the movie Rear Window decades ago I have been somewhat obsessed with a particular outfit worn by Grace Kelly. It consists of a pale green skirt suit and white halter neck top.

I have had various tries at emulating the outfit over the years, including in my 20s when I wore a pale green skirt suit with a white sleeveless top to my brother’s graduation. I wouldn’t wear the skirt suit now, but I am still a double thumbs up for a sleeveless high neck wrap top. It’s a HEWI of the highest order.

Imagine my joy when a linen blend version appeared at Zara! It’s even better than the GK version because it has a back and you can wear a racer back bra underneath it. And you don’t have to tuck it in because of the wrap front. I bought all 3 colours, including the white. I know Angie will be pleased about the white

Here is the green version, in a typical (tonal!) blue-green outfit. Worn to lunch on a 35C day.
