Lol! I was on a crowded train with someone once who had a fringed bag, and when it was bumpy I got the fringe right in the face. Could have been the whole bag, I guess...

I love the fringe trend and often catch the fringe of my bag and of various tops in the car door. Recently the beaded fringe on a sleeve dropped through the metal grid top of a bistro table and when I moved my arm, it caught and ripped with beads flying everywhere

Yeah, my husband always says things like "I hope you are not planning to operate any heavy machinery while wearing that". And if I am wearing a scarf he will send me off with a warning to keep away from sliding train doors/escalators etc. So practical.
