I never would have looked at the EF skirted leggings if it weren't for YLF. So thank you!
Over the past few days, I've been working on my aspirational style descriptors. Last week's descriptors:
Comfortable, warm, lazy, plain, boring classic
Aspirational descriptors:
Comfortable, Cozy, creative professional, approachable expert, interesting, modern classic
The lazy came in because I work from home and go to the gym in the late afternoon. And I hate to "waste" my good, going-out-in-public clothes. So yes, I was one of those people who would be in their pajamas at noon, or would get dressed right into gym clothes. Most work-at-home days I don't see anyone (except my family) and maybe the UPS guy, or neighbors when I run out to get the mail.
The EF Skirted leggings, though ... holy cow. Comfortable, cozy and outside-world appropriate. And now I realize that I need a Work From Home capsule, which I didn't have before. I just had a "casual" capsule that meant jeans, which I find supremely uncomfortable to wear while sitting at my desk all day.
I'm thinking a pair of ponte pants, another pair of the EF skirted leggings (already ordered for $79, thank you, Macy's), and a couple of loose dresses and knit skirts for summer, and I should be all set. I do need some cozy winter sweaters -- longer, tunic length, to wear with the EF skirts. I'm always cold in the house.
But here's a question: footwear. I can't see myself putting on shoes to work at home. My usual is slippers or Uggs, which I wear as slippers. What do the rest of you work-at-homers do about footwear?
