Just wondering! I've never been quite sure of the difference, myself. I have a shirt that was called chambray when I bought it (the one with the fringe) and I have a shirt that was called denim when I bought it (the one with the collar) and in my mind, they're both a thinnish, not too rigid denim, whereas my denim jackets are a bit thicker and more structured. I've also seen shirts called chambray that are, as far as I can tell, exactly like my denim shirt. Anyone have a clear understanding and can help me out?
