Lol. The dog looks unfazed! Sorry it didn't go as planned.

I'm coming to this late. You never cease to amuse me with your many adventures. I often think I would love to meet you in person. Hope you see a bird next time.

Thank you all. Bob (not his real name) just likes being with us. The tire is all fixed and they washed the car, too.

Sterling, I’d love to meet you too.

Just saw this - wow. at least you had good company.

I just returned from a week at Yellowstone with DH, "supporting" his annual trip. He stays longer. Of my 6 days in the park, 3 were spent sitting in front of Steamboat - the world's tallest geyser which can be dormant for 50 years at a time, but which is currently erupting 4-8 days. 3/4 of a mile from bathrooms, rain, wind, cold, and you just can't walk away. Eating junk food all day as we would arrive early and leave late, missing the short hours the concessions an hour away keep this time of year. It is bad when you are looking forward to the food at the Salt Lake Airport. 36 precious vacation hours invested, almost hoping it would erupt overnight so we wouldn't have to go back the next day (almost - DH really wanted me to see it).

And it erupted the night I left. What we do for love! That which does not kill us makes us stronger! It was weirdly fun 'though. This was sort of the 2nd type of Fun:https://www.rei.com/blog/climb/fun-scale. Your might have been the 3rd.

Ha! Ha! Good one, K13.

Karen, what an experience! It’s like birding. When something rare has been spotted, you can’t leave until you see it, too.

I’d never seen those types of “fun” before. Thank you for sharing.
