This Danier white leather jacket that I posted weeks ago arrived today! Interestingly, I can no longer find it on the Danier site, so I guess it is good I tried it while I had my chance.
I had a big scare yesterday when I saw that the tracking info said "notice left" and I had received no such notice. Then I received a voicemail that my package had an insufficient address. Then my heart stopped when I checked tracking again this morning and it said "delivered."
I burst into the post office as soon as they opened, and the sweet lady who sorts our PO Box mail brought it out to me. She said they had marked it to be returned to sender (my address on the customs form was correct, but whoever had hand-written the address on the box itself miscopied it!), but that she recognized my name and kept it. Wow! Most sorters go by the box numbers, so the fact that she learns all the names really came in handy!
Anyway, back to business... I've taken some photos of the jacket with slacks as well as jeans. It seems to fit me pretty much exactly as it looks on the model, so this is definitely the correct size. The bust is a teeny tiny bit tight, but I'm sure it will relax. What do you think? I would most likely wear it closed halfway most of the time, as that is how I prefer to wear most of my jackets/blazers.
The Bebe faux leather option (too sweaty for work) is included in the last 2 photos for comparison.
