LOL, I think that article is hilarious... in that it makes me laugh at all the people I see in those damn boots. I have literally seen a pack of 10 teenagers walking down the hall in the mall, and every single one of them is wearing faded jeans tucked into black/brown ugg boots with a hoodie on. I laugh because I don't know if they realize they all look exactly alike, and they look ridiculous!!
Anyway, I do own a pair of UGG-like boots (I bought them from American eagle for a decent penny 3-4 years ago), but I only wear them in dead of winter when I have to run out in multiple feet of snow. Only because they are practical and easy-on... I don't even find them very comfortable. I guess this article explains why
