He is clever enough to consider his accessories well. Some days he is in the mood for matchy-matchy. Other days, a contrasting palette may be acceptable. Decisions about optimal photos must be determined according to daily preferences regarding the color story he would like to convey.
JAileen - ha ha. That looks familiar. We've stitched up the favorites before. We had a fabric ribbon wand toy that used to be a foot and a half, and became only half that length. We've snipped off parts of toys knowing they would be susceptible to eating. Maybe Sam is more aware of his upcoming photo ops
Delurked, my Jack Russell immediately chews off a leg and the face, as if to immobilize it. The Scottie just wants to carry a toy around like a lovey. Poor guy.
Lilypup follows the extreme minimalist lifestyle: no toys. In fact, she's practically an architecture student, looking askance at the whole notion of the pet bed. However, like all architectural students, she really likes how Sam has dressed in acknowledgement of his architectural surroundings, i.e. his pet bed. Feels he's a real Daniel Hopwood!
Sam (and I ) thank you for the lovely compliments. For the record he matched his ball himself - I had nothing to do with that part, although I did put on the striped collar.
JAileen and delurked, Sam has killed other toys. They are like prey to him - after all - he is a terrier. But the ball is somewhat indestructible.
Michelle, Sam would love to go out with Revie on a chicken jerky date.
JAileen, that's a familiar sight. I have to hide the pugs' toys when the catahoulas are staying with us -- the poor little dog toys are dismembered in approx. .05 seconds. The so-called indestructible Kong toys and the like? Sunny and Woody make short work of proving "indestructible" wrong. Everything is doomed to be shredded when they are around!
