Fabbers, you were BEYOND fabulous with your help with my big closet clear-out. Here's the final summary of what I decided based on your help:
The Sweaters: Letting most of them go. Going to try block-stretching the two merino v-necks; if that doesn't work, they will go too. Made a note to look out for a more appropriate item in the flattering teal. I will keep the red and navy striped, but it is on strict probation - if it doesn't get worn this spring, off it goes. I will use the fit of the body of it though as a template for future sweater purchasing.
The Worried-they-were-dated Items: Keeping the two purses. Letting the jewellery go except for the assymetrical sticky-things necklace that a few people liked. Keeping the moto and will adjust the sleeves best I can. Keeping the bell-sleeve tee with the same strict probation conditions as the striped sweater.
The Randoms: Keeping the Rebel pendant, all the scarves, and the jeans. I'm not worried about scarf or jewellery clutter, because I keep a relatively small wardrobe and think I should make more of an effort with these items. I'm also determined to wear scarves and jewellery that I like rather than worrying if they are current/stylish/trendy. Moving the long striped cardi to my loungewear/yoga capsule (perfect butt-coverage for over yoga outfit). Bye bye graph-paper dress (I did love you!) and plaid shirt (I never wore you!). Green top on strict probation for spring/summer. Burgundy pants in Xmas capsule but this is likely their last year (she said, again).
THANK YOU so much; I so appreciate everyone's help!! You guys rock! xoxox
