I’m still getting ready for this very small trip to Denmark. They say that you use the same kit for a weekend trip as you do to go around the world.

Right now I’m geeking out over a little cookware win: I had purchased GSI enameled deep plates. The high sides meant they’d work as bowls for stew, the bananas, oatmeal, etc, but the enamel is too thin to hold up to cooking. Now I’ve stumbled across paella pans that are exactly the same size. We will use them for cooking and for eating from. They have corners at the bottom, so won’t be quite as easy to eat from, but the added functionality with no added weight is a win in my book!

Kitchen contents:
2 paella pans/plates
2 LC mini-cocottes
2 pie irons (not actually in bag—handles will extend along top bar of my bike)
Small saucepan & lid
Cutting board
Knife/sheath
Burner
Butane
Lighter
Potholder
“Sock” for making coffee
Mug
Tongs
Eating utensils
Can opener (grocery store version, much cheaper than camp stores & not much bigger)
Clothesline w clips
Dishcloth/towel

It all goes in a little bag to go on the rear rack on my bike.
